I am a wedding and elopement photographer with a heart for love stories, the outdoors, and the One who created it all! I find so much joy in capturing meaningful moments surrounded by the beauty of nature. Whether it's golden light filtering through the trees or a quiet mountain breeze, I believe every detail reflects God’s handiwork. Why Do I Love Photography?
Guys, there is not enough space on the internet for me to tell you all of the reasons why I love photography (seriorsly the list could go on). So, for the sake of time and internet space, here are a couple of the most important. I’ve always been drawn to the quiet, in-between moments (yes i know that's cheesy and everyone says that), but as a wallflower and a very observant person i truly, truly love the small moments that fall unnoticed. It’s those little details that tell the real story, and they’re easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. That’s what I love about photography — it slows everything down. It gives us a way to hold onto memories we’d otherwise forget.
The next reason I fell in love with photography is because of how special it is to look back. I grew up flipping through old photo albums with my family; faded prints of my grandparents on their wedding day, candid snapshots from summer afternoons, generations of stories told through worn-out photos. Those images mean the world to me. They’re more than just pictures; they’re pieces of who we are and where we’ve come from. That’s why I care so deeply about creating photographs that last, images that your kids and grandkids will hold in their hands one day and feel like they were there.
Photography also gives me a way to reflect the beauty of God and His creation. Every time I’m out in nature, I’m reminded of Romans 1:20, where it says that God’s invisible qualities are clearly seen in what He has made. I see His fingerprints in the details: the way light wraps around a couple, the laughter echoing across a valley, the peace that settles in during a slow, quiet moment. Capturing those things feels like worship — a way to celebrate His goodness and the beauty He’s placed all around us.

Braving the Elements & Why It's Important to Me
There’s a kind of peace I only find in the wilderness — and it’s the same peace I see settle over couples when they choose to elope in nature. Out there, with the sky above and the earth beneath your feet, the pressure melts away. No timelines, no crowded venues, no expectations — just you, your person, and the freedom to be fully present in one of the most meaningful moments of your life. The wilderness invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and focus on what really matters. It’s raw, honest, and wildly beautiful — the perfect backdrop for promises that are just as real. That’s why I’m so passionate about elopements in nature: because they give you space to be yourselves, to connect, and to begin your marriage in a way that’s intentional and true.
But braving the wilderness isn’t just poetic — it’s also practical. Weather can shift in an instant, trails can be tricky, and wildlife doesn’t exactly follow a timeline. Having someone by your side who’s familiar with the outdoors makes a huge difference. I know how to read the light, adapt when plans change, and create a safe, relaxed space even when the wind picks up or a surprise rainstorm rolls through. I’ve spent enough time in nature to know that unpredictability is part of the magic — and also something you can be ready for.
