If you’re getting this, it means we’re heading to Grand Teton National Park together and I’m already so excited. Truly one of my favorite places to shoot—everything is beautiful without us having to try too hard.
I made this to help you pick a location that fits your vision and feels like you. I’ll guide you either way, but this will make it all feel really easy and dialed in before we get there.

I highly recommend looking up all of these locations to get a good idea of what they could look like in your photos! Think season, time of day, etc. I would also be glad to help you with any of this if you have questions!

Mormon Row Barns
Beautiful at sunrise!
Wide prairie in front of the iconic Mormon row barns and the Tetons. There are several barns to choose from, as well as several fence lines.
Jenny Lake
Perfect for a short hike and/or boat ride around the Lake
Jenny Lake requires a short walk, but it is worth it! The water is so blue!

Schwabacher Landing
right on the river
Schwabacher Landing is one of my favorite spots! It's at the base of the Tetons on the Snake River and is a wonderful spot for sunrise! This isn't only my favorite though, it can be very busy during peak season.

Black Tail Ponds
another beautiful view
Similar to the Mormon row view, except this time you have trees and ponds in the foreground. Here we can find a marvelous view of the Tetons, a prairie, and a fence that works well in photos.

Snake River Overlook
a iconic view of the tetons
A drive-up view of the Snake River winding in front of the Tetons! I wouldn't suggest choosing just this location, but I always suggest pulling up for a couple of quick shots on the way to the next spot!
Grand Targhee Resort
a unique view from the backside of the Tetons
Grand Targhee is on the other side of Teton Pass near Driggs, Idaho. It offers a wonderful view of the backside of the Tetons (better for sunset).
