Cannon Beach Elopement Styled Shoot

Hosted by Creatives for the Creator

This was my first time visiting Cannon Beach, and I’ll be honest—I came expecting fog and moody skies. Instead, we were blessed with sunshine. The kind that warms your shoulders and makes the ocean sparkle. It wasn’t what I pictured, but it ended up being exactly what the day needed—bright, calm, and full of quiet joy.

This styled elopement was dreamed up by Creatives for the Creator, and from the start, it felt like something special. Dana's heart for intentional design and story-driven moments really came through in every detail. Forage and Folk Co. created the most beautiful florals—wild and natural, with muted tones that blended perfectly with the soft coastal palette. The bouquet looked like it belonged there, like it had been gathered right from the dunes.

Bradley and Natalie were our couple for the day, and they couldn’t have been a better fit. There was this natural ease between them—the kind where you can just tell they genuinely enjoy being together. They laughed through the wind, wandered along the waterline barefoot, and didn’t mind when the hem of Natalie’s dress got a little wet. Those unplanned moments always end up being my favorite—the ones that feel real and alive.

As the sun started to set, the tide crept in closer, and the air turned cool. The light shifted into those soft pinks and silvers that only happen at the coast. For a few minutes, everything went quiet except the waves. It was one of those moments that reminded me that beauty doesn’t have to be an exact replica of what I am picturing in my mind. God knew what He had in store would be even better!
