Bailey and Mason’s June wedding at The Barn at Broken Horn Ranch was beautiful in every sense—and also very Oklahoma-in-June. The sun blazed overhead, the air was warm and still, and everyone kept a cold drink nearby. But if the heat bothered them, you’d never know it. Bailey and Mason were so focused on each other, the weather simply became part of the story of their day.
One of my favorite parts about this wedding was how personal it felt. Every detail had meaning. Bailey wore thrifted and passed-down accessories, each with its own story. Her earrings were a vintage find, her hairpiece once belonged to a family member, and her bouquet ribbon was made from fabric with its own history. And then there was the dress—a one-of-a-kind creation that Bailey herself had sewn. She started with a vintage 70s gown, carefully reworking and reimagining it into something timeless, modern, and completely her. It was stunning.
Their ceremony took place in front of the barn, with friends and family gathered close under the wide summer sky. Mason’s face lit up the moment he saw Bailey walking toward him, and that expression never really faded for the rest of the day.
After they said “I do,” we wandered around the property for portraits, chasing bits of shade where we could and letting the golden light spill over the fields. The Barn’s rustic charm, open skies, and soft evening glow made every frame feel like a little piece of Oklahoma summer.
The reception was full of energy—heartfelt toasts, great music, and a dance floor that stayed busy well into the night. Guests laughed, fanned themselves, and celebrated without holding back. By the end of the evening, Bailey and Mason were wrapped up in each other, surrounded by the people who love them most.
